Product Details
The Calogiuri family have been in the olive oil business since 1825 in the Puglia region of Italy. Puglia is in the 'heel of the boot.' Their oil is produced by a special method referred to as 'Affiorato' or surfacing. The oil is hand skimmed out of the press after the olives are cold pressed. Only three producers still make this labour intensive type of olive oil. The result is a light, fresh and delicate tasting oil. Perfect for salads.
